Santos Futebol Clube de Angola (Angola)

Santos FC are a club from the shanty town of Viana, on the outskirts of Angola's capital Luanda. The town home to some 6000 refugees from the conflict in Katanga Province in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and as such can be a dangerous and lawless place. But the one thing that brings the whole place together is football.

Formed in 2002, Santos have already seen some success, despite their young age. Already playing in Girabola - the premier league of Angolan football, they won the Angolan Cup in 2008 and the Angolan Super Cup the following year, beating Girabola champions Petro Atlético in the process.

They play at the 17,00 capacity and somewhat prosaically named Estádio do Santos, and perhaps their best known player is a chap called Milloy, who played three matches for Angola at the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
